​Celtic folklore from Scotland and Ireland tells of thin places, locations where the veil between earth and somewhere else blurs. Sometimes these places exude a soothing quietness, being cut off from the bustle of society, but other times more sinister forces may be at work. My work imagines the beginning of a journey through a thin place, as one begins to feel reality’s fabric peel off around them.

Enter this place, all around you.
Feel the quietness in the air.
Feel inside this thin place.

Listen around, all around you.
Sense the presences that abound
this thin place.
