Program Note:

These pieces are for younger listeners. Something Lovecraftian is conveyed in the first movement. The second movement is very simple, happy, and folk-like. I pictured a bunch of little animals, vegetables, and minerals dancing around in a garden. But there are still a few (Lovecraftian) surprises.
